Jordyn is a 16 yr old rising star from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada. She is a singer/songwriter with a passion for country/pop music. Her voice has been compared to artists such as Taylor Swift, Tori Kelly, and Sarah McLachlan.
Professionally, Jordyn has had the privilege of opening for Brad Johner and Brett Kissel. She has also performed at many fairs and festivals across Alberta and Saskatchewan. In 2015 she was a top 10 finalist at the ‘Rise to Fame Youth Talent Search’ in Saskatchewan as well as the Ponoka Stampede. She is a past winner of the Saskatchewan Country Music Association (SCMA) Youth Talent Search, current recipient of the SCMA Youth Development Bursary, and has performed on the Diamonds in the Rough (DITR) stage during CCMA week in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (2017). She has been invited to return to the DITR stage in September, 2018 in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jordyn is also very committed to using her music for various community and non-profit initiatives. She has supported numerous events over the past year including the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) ‘Concert in the Dark’, Parkinson Alberta’s Step and Stride, and ‘Jammin At the Jube’ in Lloydminster supporting Autism.
Jordyn was recently recognized by American country superstar Kelsea Ballerini, who included her cover of ‘Yeah Boy’ in her promotional materials; and by rising Nashville star Bailey Bryan on Twitter for Jordyn’s cover of her hit ‘Hard Drive Home’.
